PHARMACEUTICAL DUST COLLECTOR
An exceptionally safe pharmaceutical dust collector that doesn't require onsite filter change-outs or dust handling
An exceptionally safe pharmaceutical dust collector that doesn't require onsite filter change-outs or dust handling
A BlueSky® pharmaceutical dust collector is the perfect choice for pharmaceutical applications because of its versatility. It has a HEPA filtration option, it can adapt to changing needs for capacity by adding or subtracting "sections". And it has what no other pharmaceutical dust collector has, a SmartBox.
The "secret weapon" of a BlueSky® dust collector is the SmartBox® module. This module contains the filters and captures the dust. Especially useful for pharmaceutical applications, the SmartBox provides the option to completely shield local personnel from coming in contact with dirty filters and/or collected dust.
A BlueSky pharmaceutical dust collector can induce an airflow rate of up to 60.000 m³/Hr (40,000 SCFM) and can capture up to 2 tons of dust.

Dust collectors, short-term & long-term rentals
We offer industrial dust collectors as short-term rentals, as well as long-term rentals. Each size in the BlueSky® Gladiator® line-up is expandable, even after it has been put in place. This is done by simply adding another section. This need may arise when a project unexpectedly requires HEPA filtration or when a project needs to handle more dust than anticipated.

An estimated 26%–53% of COPD can be attributed to occupational exposures
National surveys have shown that exposure to dust, grain dust, organic dust, inorganic dust, fumes, hydrogen sulfide, diesel exhaust, environmental tobacco smoke, and chemicals increases the risk for COPD morbidity and mortality. — CDC (Centers for Disease Control)
Why the SmartBox matters
Safety. The SmartBox provides optimal safety, especially when dealing with dust-types that are considered extra dangerous or toxic.
HEPA filters (or non-HEPA filters), are housed inside the SmartBox. When the SmartBox is used in the sealed configuration, both filters and captured dust are locked inside the SmartBox (important when dealing with toxic dust). In this configuration, local personnel never needs to touch any dust or dirty filters.
Pharmaceutical Dust Collector
Dust collection systems in the pharmaceutical industry are essential, not only to the health of employees but also to maintain product purity by avoiding cross-contamination.
During the manufacturing of many pharmaceutical products, fine dust is generated at various stages of manufacturing, such as coating, crushing, milling and granulating. This fine sub-micron dusts must be controlled at all times.
Temporary mobile dust collector
BlueSky dust collectors are ideal as a temporary option during plant outages, maintenance, or emergency situations where the regular system is offline. BlueSky dust collectors are quickly set up and are a worry-free solution.
BlueSky dust collectors can be rented short-term or leased for longer periods. Independent BlueSky service suppliers take care of the installation and the safe disposal (on-site or off-site) of all hazardous dust and filters.
